In a cheerful atmosphere welcoming the 60^th year of capital liberation, and a series of activities for celebrating 29 years of the Enterprise’s establishment and 15 years of CADI-SUN’s establishment, on the morning of 28^th Sept., CADI-SUN Trade Union held its 4^th Congress for the term of 2014-2018 to assess the achieved results in the previous term, draw experience and lessons, and set up the plan and tasks for the next term.
  
Several months ago, 30 local trade unions held their respective congresses to celebrate the 4^th Trade Union Congress. With emotion and pride, 85 delegates representing nearly 500 unionists gathered to conduct a Congress of innovation, expectation and development. The attendees to the Congress were Mr. Pham Luong Hoa - Chairman/ General Director of CADI-SUN; Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hong - Member of the Board of Management/ Trade Union President of the Company, and Deputy General Directors of the Blocks and Factories, Directors from the units, Heads/ Deputy Heads of Departments of the Company, members of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Company - Session III.
  
Shortly after the opening ceremony of the Congress, voting the Trade Union President and presenting verification report of the delegates, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hong - Member of the Board of Management/ Trade Union President of CADI-SUN made a brief report on the results of the operations for the third term (2010-2014) and the plan of the next term. The report emphasized: Along with the development of the Company, its Trade Union is growing and making significant contributions to the completion of production and business tasks, improving the material and spiritual life of the whole personnel; annually, the Trade Union often coordinates with the professional divisions to monitor, check the implementation of regimes and policies, and catches up with life situation, employment, thoughts of staff and labors. The report confirmed: In recent years, CADI-SUN Trade Union has always deserved as the organizer and caretaker of the lives and interests of the personnel.
 
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thu - Vice President of Trade Union in charge of the Business Block reported, reviewed the works of the Executive Committee, Session III. His report highly praised the contributions, efforts of the staff in the Executive Committee; at the same time, recognized the recent success of the Company’s trade union-related activities which were paid attention, direction, and facilitated in all aspects by the Board of Management/Board of Directors, and the great efforts of the members of the Executive Committee of Trade Union and enthusiastic support of the majority of staff and labors.

 
The Congress also heard the presentations from the Trade Union of Bac Duong Factory, Committee of Culture and Sports, Business Block, and Trade Union’s professional officers. Those are the dedicated and responsible comments, contributions in the forms of bold consultancy, and solution proposal for building a stronger and more efficient trade union. The whole Congress showed the spirit of sharing and understanding, solidarity and high consensus on the issues for discussion.
Speaking and directing at the Congress, Mr. Pham Luong Hoa - Chairman/ General Director of CADI-SUN acknowledged and praised the achievements of its Trade Union in the last term, at the same time instructed its Trade Union to promote the strengths, weaknesses and accomplishments, overcome difficulties and problems, and strive to obtain new achievements and success in the next term.
  
In the spirit of democracy and wisdom, the Congress conducted the election of the Trade Union Executive Committee in the new term, including 13 comrades. The Trade Union Congress of CADI-SUN – the festival for personnel well wrapped up with the approval of the Congress Resolution and the presence of the Executive Committee, Session IV, opening a new development stage for the works of the Company’s Trade Union.
