April, for CADI – SUN, is something very reminiscent and emotional because it marks a lot of great imprints and memories of a difficult period of starting a business. When every April is over, the Company gets older with more success, difficulties and obstacles. April 2014 is more special when it marks 29 years of business construction and development, and 15 years of the Company’s establishment. To celebrate this event, a solemn meeting was held on April 20^th at Bac Duong Factory. It can be said that there has never had such an event with so much efforts and devotion like this. The bustling and exciting atmosphere of the preparation for the holiday spread throughout the departments several months ago. Having recognized this as an once-every-15-year moment, all members from participants to the organizing committee devoted their mind and time as long as they could be able to hold a grand and successful meeting worthy of the stature and scale of the business.
At 5 a.m, so early before the official opening hour, the campus of Bac Duong Factory was picked out compared to its surrounding areas. Welcome gates, balloons, bandroll and cheerfully fluttering flags and flowers made everyone feel attracted. Contrary to carefree and good mood of guests during their observation, the program organizing team and construction units were very busy with the final preparations, their faces looked worried due to some problems arising at the last minutes. Perhaps, the expectation and great confidence of the whole Company for today is also the burden of responsibility over the shoulders of the organizers. However, with the encouragement and guidance of the head of the organizing committee, and fully responsible coordination of all crew, all incidents were remedied before the official beginning of the meeting.
At 8 a.m, when the guests arrived, and the whole parade teams gathered in their preset positions, MC made his announcement: "... the meeting to welcome 29 years of business construction and development, and 15 years of CADI-SUN’s establishment officially starts...". The space seemed to be deposited for a moment and then was suddenly blown up by drumbeat to welcome parade blocks. With strong and demure music, the ritual procession carrying a picture of Dear Uncle Ho led the honor army of CADI-SUN to step forward, followed by Red Flag team with 15 flags flying flutteringly and majestically which symbolizes 15 years of establishment of the Company. Following the ritual team, each square line-up of Administrative and Business blocks, Dai Duong Factory, Bac Duong Factory, Indochina project, Hoang Duong Company, Truong Duong Company and branch blocks with correctly dressed uniform marched over the stage in turn. Their definitive and energetic foot stomping hide the joy and pride to represent their units. Although the parade was rehearsed several times, the atmosphere suddenly became different in the official ceremony, probably because everyone was aware of their importance and responsibility to represent the whole group and company before many guests.
Following a brief opening speech delivered by the Chairman/General Director Pham Luong Hoa and review of the Company’s tradition presented by Deputy General Director Nguyen Minh Thanh, singing-dance performance to recreate 29-year history of establishment and development of CADI-SUN Company made all participants - including the Organizing Committee - feel surprised. The stage of development and overcoming difficulties from Thuong Dinh cooperative group nearly 30 years ago was condensed in just 7 minutes. All the difficulties, experience, confusion, despair, determination while finding a new route, pride of successful moments, etc. and painful days suddenly rushed back as an emotional source flowing into the audience's mind, chokingly pent-up feelings and tremble with excitement was seen on everyone’ faces. “So beautiful”, “awesome” were suddenly voiced; Indeed, with a performance coordinated in a harmonious and articulated way like that, it is difficult to believe that it was organized by a non-specialist team. Even the people involved were very surprised that what they did yesterday were not compatible with today. Love and pride upon the Company made the staff and employees sublimated and become real artists on the art front.
If the parade blocks bring out the solemn and proud atmosphere, media performance represents pride and emotion, the next part of the program - Final Round of CADI-SUN SINGING CONTEST was filled up with smiles, cheerfully and gently. The contest teams’ carefully arranged performances were finished in turn in the applause of the audience and praise from the Jury. Although it is only a movement activity, with this contest, the artistic quality of many performances has nearly reached the professional level.
The most improvisatory part of the program is the organization of collective game - 3 teams of Office block, Dai Duong Factory and Bac Duong Factory competed together in 3 contents including bag jumping, jumping with tied legs and going in back-to-back manner to keep ball. The men and women who were willowy and flexible in the previous singing-dance performances suddenly became passionate and wild. All wished to bring glory to their teams in the best and fastest way. The fair rivalry which was not for personal benefit seemed to be very pure for such enthusiastic young hearts.
The awarding ceremony was also exciting. My colleagues, upon their receipt of awards, were a little bit shy, but the gleam of pride in their eyes was so cute. Maybe, they were thinking of many years ago when they only paid much attention to working and dedication rather than being honored at such a big day of the Company.
After a few minutes of excitement on stage, a party took place in a friendly and funny atmosphere. Guests, management of the Company, and staff and employees cheerfully made a toast and praised together. Among revelers, some of them were lucky with lucky draw program. Although the gifts given were of great economic value, it was certain that they were not the most precious things everyone won in the party today!
Singing voices and cheers were still filling the hall while the sunlight in summer afternoon was falling down, symbolizing the aspiration of devotion, high flying and outreaching of the Vietnamese enterprises on the development path. CADI-SUN song will fly high, and is more sonorous, thereby the next generations of CADI-SUN will follow and continue to sing the song of the success.
