By the day of 70 years ago (13-10-1945/13-10-2015), President Ho Chi Minh wrote: “The works of the country and the home always go together. The national economy become prosperous means that industrialists and traders become prosperous”. President Ho Chi Minh affirmed the great role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs. In the difficult context of the world economy and domestic economy, more than 20 thousand enterprises of Hanoi had many initiatives to overcome difficulties as well as emulate the production and business, contributing over 60% of total revenue of the city budget, at the same time, creating jobs for more than 2 million labours. The competitiveness of enterprises in Hanoi is increasingly enhanced.

On the occasion of Anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day for 2015, on 13/10 evening, Fatherland Font Committee of Hanoi City organized a Conference to praise typical businesses, entrepreneurs and launch the peak month of “Day for the Poor” in 2015. The Conference was participated by the Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, the representatives of Ministries, Departments and Agencies, Hanoi city leaders, businesses and typical entrepreneurs.

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Chairman of Hanoi City People’s Committee – Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan noted and praised the gained achievements of the businesses. “In the difficult context, the business community of the capital has promoted the independent spirit and coped with a difficulties and challenges to gain the achievements in production and business activities. Many businesses not only pioneer on the economic front, but also in charitable activities, supporting poor and difficult households of the city to build, repair their homes... giving confidence to people, increasing block of national unity” - Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan said.
 
At the Conference, the Government awarded the Medals of labor, emulation flags, Merits for the outstanding collectives and individuals. The City People’s Committee rewarded more than 100 collectives and individuals with achievements in the socio-economic construction and development of the capital in 2014.
