Year 2012 has been full of difficulties and challenges for Vietnamese enterprises. As a company manufacturing in the Industrial sector, Thuong Dinh Electric Wire and Cable Joint Stock Company (CADI-SUN) has also attached by such nature. However, facing with these difficulties, instead of shrinking production, CADI-SUN has chosen the plan of accepting the challenges and looking for opportunities to overcome a series of alternate policies in order to stabilize and develop the company.
Compared to the given plan, during five first months, the Company has reached 45% of its value of total output (up 9% over the same period of 2011), 40% in its revenue (up 4% over the same period), 146% in its total export turnover... The Company has essentially completed all portfolios of Luong Dien industrial cluster (Hai Duong), newly constructed and put the office buildings of Da Nang, Thanh Hoa branches into use, proving CADI-SUN's outstanding efforts in the current difficult context of Vietnamese enterprises.
To achieve these results, in recent years the Company has actively accelerated the itinerary of restructuring the business in the streamlined, efficient way. It is shown by contracting products to every production team for the purpose of enhancing value and responsibility of workers, streamlining apparatus, reducing management cost; implementing well the Company quality policy, considering the product quality to be the first criterion to decide the survival of the business; establishing and improving quality control processes and systems under standard Rosh (an European standard) in order to meet strict requirements of International market; applying the warranty policy for product quality for a period of 20 years. At the same time, the Company has also selected investment projects consistent with the Company’s financial capacity, ensuring not to be spread and turn over the capital quickly.
One of the important solutions that CADI-SUN has applied in such early months is to maintain its market share. To achieve this, the Company’s product price has been reduced to the minimum to assure to maintain the production stability, to create jobs for its workers and to keep customers. Besides, CADI-SUN has also built its appropriate Marketing policies to maintain the Northern market stability, tofocus mainly on the Centre and South’s markets and to boost the export of goods abroad.
Mr. Pham Luong Hoa, Chairman/CEO of CADI-SUN said: "I'm not so pessimistic on the situation. The enterprise has to save itself, no pain, no gain. Year 2012 will be difficult but also a test medicine for prestige businesses who know the active and flexibility in business. To overcome such difficult period, CADI-SUN has planned its growth rate at the relatively modest level but will be positive with a growth speed at 12% over the previous year”.
