CADI-SUN's 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders took place on the morning of 20 April 2022 at the Company's office building.
According to the report at the Meeting, 2021 is the second year in a row that Covid-19 pandemic has raged, challenged the resistance of enterprises, especially private enterprises. In the context that thousands of factories and enterprises have declared bankruptcy or suspended operations, CADI-SUN with the wise management from the Board of Directors, the efforts made by the staffs, overcome all difficulties and obtained many positive results.
Output and revenue of electric cables increased by 30% and 37% respectively. Revenue from sales of goods and services of Luong Dien Industrial Cluster increased by 5.6%. Business performance of CADI-SUN, Truong Duong and factories is all profitable. Human resources remained stable (increasing by 0.4% compared with the same period of the previous year) and the employees’ average income rose by 5%.
However, investment activities only reached 43.3% of the plan, mainly due to the impact of Covid-19 and the border closure policy of some countries. Hence, the imported equipment chain was interrupted. Foreign experts (mainly Europeans) could not come to Vietnam for consulting and supervising, leading the installation of many lines and equipment is unfinished although purchase and sale contracts were signed.
With the spirit of solidarity, democracy and legality, CADI-SUN's 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders gained a good success. 100% of shareholders voted to approve the resolution of electing the Management Board/ Supervisory Board for the term 2022 - 2027. Mr. Pham Luong Hoa continues to be trusted for the position of Chairman of the Management Board. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thu continued to be trusted for the position of Head of the Supervisory Board.
The Meeting also identified a number of key targets and tasks to be performed in 2022, with the growth of output and revenue at 15% and 8% respectively; to further invest in additional modern European production lines and equipment for improving production capacity, expanding markets and developing market share; to invest in expanding Bac Duong factory and Luong Dien industrial cluster (phase 2).
