These are urgent electrical projects in the National Electricity Development Planning with the goal of transmitting electricity from Quang Trach Power Center to the National Electricity System. At the same time, strengthening the transmission capacity of the 500 kV electrical grid linking regions of the national electricity system, making an important contribution in ensuring power supply to the South in the coming time as well as being important in the economic operation of the national electricity system ”.

The overall scale of the 3 projects includes: Building nearly 742 km of 500 kV double circuit lines passing 9 provinces/cities (Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum, Gia Lai); Constructing 08 500 kV feeders at the distribution yard of Quang Trach Power Center; Expanding a number of 500 kV feeders at 500 kV Vung Ang, Doc Soi and Pleiku 2 transformer stations; Constructing 03 fiber optical repeaters and 03 management houses to manage electricity transmission teams.

Total investment of all projects is invested over VND11,949 billion, expected construction time of all projects is about 20 months and strives to be completed and put into operation in the middle of 2020./.
