On July 31
st 2013, CADI-SUN Charitable Fund – Compassionate Journey held a ceremony to present houses to 06 households in plight in Da Nang: families of Mr. Huynh Van Quoc, Mr. Luong Ban, Mr. Nguyen Nghia, Mr. Nguyen Thien, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang and Mr. Vu Thanh Son.
Together with the help of local authorities, CADI-SUN Charitable Fund – Compassionate Journey has completed the construction of 6 charity houses after nearly 2 months of construction and held a ceremony to present houses to the households. Participants in the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quang (Member of Municipal Standing Committee, Chairman of the Father Front Committee of Da Nang City), Mr. Phan Viet Thong (Vice Chairman of the Municipal Commission for Mass Mobilization of Da Nang City), Mr. Pham Nhu Nghia (Deputy General Secretary of Vietnam Red Cross Society – Chairman of Da Nang Red Cross Society), Mr. Nguyen Le Quoc Linh (Vice Chairman of Da Nang Labor Federation), Mr. Pham Luong Hoa (Chairman/General Director of CADI-SUN), Ambassador of Compassion - Miss Diem Huong together with representatives from departments, agencies, organizations, press bodies and poor households, students, volunteers, youth vanguard force, local people of Da Nang city.
At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Luong Hoa handed house keys to 6 households that previously, on June 11
th 2013, CADI-SUN Charitable Fund – Compassionate Journey had visited, shared as well as supported each family in materials. These families are in really difficult circumstances and living in slovenly, wobbly thatched cottage. With all hardship of making a living, all the families receiving supports from CADI-SUN Charitable Fund – Compassionate Journey are not capable of building, repairing or improving their seriously degraded houses. Also at the ceremony, Charitable Fund – Compassionate Journey also donated the amount of VND50 million to Charitable Fund of Da Nang Red Cross Society.
Right in the afternoon of July 31
st 2013, the journey of CADI-SUN Charitable Fund – Compassionate Journey continued to visit Da Nang Center for Taking care People contributing to the Revolution and Orphanage Center of Da Nang Red Cross Society to give presents worth tens of million dongs.
Starting from June 2013, “CADI-SUN - Compassionate Journey is a charity program in favor of our dear Central Vietnam. The goal of the program is to support newly building and present 26 houses; donate money to 05 Charity Funds of Red Cross Society; present to 10 Charity bases in 5 Provinces/Cities of Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen with total value of over VND 2.5 billion. And, especially, through this program, it is hoped to generate mass media event to draw a wide attention, joint contributions from the community, society to the poor here.
After completing the build of 06 houses in Da Nang, CADI-SUN Charitable Fund – Compassionate Journey will continue to build and present 20 houses to 20 poor households in the remaining provinces.
