On 18 December 2015, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade organized a conference on summarizing the development of key industrial products of Hanoi Capital in the period of 2011-2015, tasks in the period of 2016-2020 and awarded the certificates of City People's Committee for 22 products produced by 20 enterprises that are recognized the Key Industrial Products of the Capital in 2015. In which, CADI-SUN electric wire and cable products, one out of only afew enterprises, have always achieved the recognition since 2007. This highlights the enterprises’ successes and efforts in maintaining and confirming the product brand prestige.
 
The evaluation and selection of key products were based on key criteria such as: enterprises having investment in technology innovation with advanced and modern equipment, knowledge-based economic development, highly-competitive products, significant contribution in GDP of the Capital, contributing to the industrial development of the Capital. 
In the period of 2011 - 2015, overcoming many difficulties, the industry of Hanoi capital has recovered, continued to maintain a relatively-high growth-rate with an average increase of 9%/ year. This has contributed to improving the efficiency and competitiveness of the economy of the Capital. In the period of 2016-2020, Hanoi will become the hi-tech industrial center of the whole country ... at the Conference, leaders of Departments, Agencies and leaders of Enterprises in the Capital concentrated on discussing about the measures for reforming, creating a favourable business environment, promote investment attraction,... strive, by 2020, to increase the number of products to be recognized as key industrial products to 150 products.
