Green, energy-efficient materials – the trend in construction works

Producing building materials of international standards, energy-efficiency and highly competitiveness, etc., is the Government's goal by the year 2030. This is also the main topic of the Workshop "Technology - Materials Trends in Construction".

The seminar "Technology - materials trends in construction" was organized by the Construction Newspaper (Bao Xay Dung) in collaboration with the of Building Materials Department (MOC) in Hanoi on September 28. The seminar was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Minh Ha - Director of the State Department of Construction Quality Assessment and many leaders of Departments and Institutes under the Ministry of Construction, representatives of associations and experts in building materials and architecture; representatives of building material manufacturing enterprises, and so on.

Strategy on development of building materials for the period of 2021 - 2030, orientation to 2050 towards the development of green, eco-friendly materials, meeting international standards, energy-efficiency, high competitiveness, eliminating old and outdated technologies that consume a lot of resources, etc. Accordingly, domestic and foreign enterprises have been producing building materials in association with new trends, and state management agencies have also strengthened management measures to meet required standards and regulations.

For electrical cable products, there are currently many brands on the market are used for electrical works, construction works and technical infrastructure. However, to choose the brands of electric cables with superior production technology, good product quality - durable, safe, and energy-efficient for the project works is not easy. Especially in the context of international economic integration, domestic and foreign enterprises compete with one another in terms of price, market, etc., and sometimes product quality that is overlooked.
