After presenting six gratitude houses to the poor in Da Nang City, on 21/08/2013, “CADI-SUN Charitable Fund – Compassionate Journey” continued its journey to Quang Nam, "a sacred land with extraordinary people", to present 5 gratitude houses to families of Mr. Huynh Cong Dao, Ms. Pham Thi Hue, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich, Mr. Dinh Phu Nho and Ms. Kieu Thi Vui...
The key-handing ceremony at the cultural center of Quang Nam Province honorably welcomed the leaders: Mr. Le Van Lai, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee – Chairman of Quang Nam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Huynh Khanh Toan, Member of Provincial Party Committee – Vice Chairman of Quang Nam PPC; Mr. Truong Van Muoi, Chairman of Quang Nam Red Cross Society and CADI-SUN donors: Mr. Pham Luong Hoa, Chairman of the Directors’ Board – General Director; Mr. Huynh Tan Quyen, Deputy General Director; Mr. Do Kien Cuong, Director of CADI-SUN branch in Quang Nam and Ambassador of Compassion – Miss Vietnam World Luu Diem Huong. The ceremony also attracted the attention of the departments, agencies, organizations, the media agencies, students, volunteers and many people of Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province.
Through the presented videos by the group of correspondents in many previous visits, circumstance sharing, many people in the hall were really moved into tears as seeing the hard living-making, several hundred thousand/month incomes of the poor here. They cannot improve their living places, which are just the leave-roofed houses, dilapidated bamboo partitions, impossibly protecting them from the sun and rain. CADI-SUN Charitable Fund has helped them turn their dreams into reality. Five gratitude houses were built nicely, spaciously to protect the unfortunate.
Also on 21/08/2013, “CADI-SUN Charitable Fund – Compassionate Journey” visited and presented gifts to the Center for sponsoring victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin & disadvantaged children in Quang Nam province; the Center for caring children in especially difficult circumstances of Phu Ninh District, Quang Nam Province, gave them the gifts of rice, milk, necessities, lanterns, moon cakes... and presented the fund of Quang Nam Red Cross Society with a total value of nearly VND 100 million.
Started from 7/2013, “CADI-SUN Charitable Fund – Compassionate Journey” is a factual TV program with great humanitarian and humanity meanings. Its goal is to support new construction and present 26 houses; present money to the Humanity Fund of the Red Cross Society, visit and present gifts to 10 charity bases in 5 Provinces/Cities of Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen with the amount of VND 2.5 billion. Especially it has generated a widespread media event, attracting the attention and joint contribution of the community, society to the poor in the Central Region.
