Renovation is an important and necessary activity in businesses to help improve working conditions, increase efficiency and labour productivity.
In the context of economic integration and fierce competition, improving production, increasing productivity and product quality are considered "vital" factors for businesses, specially manufacturing businesses. Besides businesses that have successfully improved, there are still many units that are not "interested" or have "half-hearted" improvements due to lack of resources.
Sharing at the seminar on "Management of quality, improvement of production processes in enterprises - Challenges and solutions" organized by Vietnam Quality Magazine, Dr. To Hoai Nam (Member of the Prime Minister's working group on reviewing legal documents, Permanent Vice President, General Secretary of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises), said that investing in automation and production technology requires large costs and capital, while the capacity to access and mobilize capital of enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises, is not so good. In addition, the risk-taking nature and mind of many small and medium enterprises is still low, while the competitiveness of foreign enterprises is increasingly strong, making domestic enterprises "hesitate". This is a big challenge that needs to be overcome.
For CADI-SUN, the Board of Directors identifies: Renovation and improvement of production is a continuous, consistent and top priority activity. To realize this, there must be strong enough financial resources and a breakthrough determination from leaders to employees, especially in improving traditional working processes and methods to digitalization and automation on online platforms.
With that awareness, since 2009, CADI-SUN has sent staff to Korea and Japan to learn about productivity improvement tools and methods. At the same time, they have visited a series of models and solutions for overall enterprise management such as Ocracle, Sap, Protonxy, Cicat, Lemon 3... to choose the most optimal ERP solution.
Established in 2009, Kaizen and 5S boards have been maintained all from the company to the factories. These boards are responsible for promoting, motivating and encouraging employees to research, explore and improve techniques, management processes, and find new, better and more effective ways of working. Thanks to that, the renovation and improvement movement has spread strongly throughout factories, especially direct labour forces. From small initiatives such as amending forms in the process, to initiatives that help businesses save hundreds of millions of VND/year. Not only bringing economic benefits, the renovation initiatives of employees also contribute to improving product quality, labour productivity, liberating workers' labour, saving materials, fuel, etc. Many groups and individuals of the company have been rewarded by businesses.
Along with renovation, CADI-SUN has also invested tens of billions of VND in recent years to purchase advanced European production lines, machinery, and technology such as: Niehoff (Germany), Frigeco (Italy), Setic (France), Rosendahl (Austria), Rautomeat (UK), and so on. Most notably, the successful application of the ERP enterprise management system to digitize data, manage centralized data, connect online and link data with the server system (Big Data), and a unified data storage system (Nas storage) to help retrieve and manage data faster and more effectively.
“There are many difficulties, but we are determined to do it. With the goal of providing products and services with international quality standards and competitive prices, CADI-SUN will continue to renovate and improve to find more effective solutions, worthy of the trust of domestic and foreign consumers,” affirmed the leader of CADI-SUN.
