Despite facing a lot of pressure from the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, CADISUN was capable to turned the situation to its advantage: the company not only effectively prevented the pandemic but also maintained the stability of production activities, the production value and revenue in the first six months of 2021 were higher year on year. In the first half of 2021, the rapidly and unpredictably-spread Covid-19 pandemic had significantly impacted socio-economic development, especially 2 outbreaks in industrial parks in Hai Duong, Bac Giang and Bac Ninh. Being a company manufacturing electrical wires and cables, CADI-SUN was not exempted from hardships and adverse impacts of the pandemic. The production line was left unfinished, and foreign technical experts were unable to come to the plants. The input materials were scarce and prices fluctuated unpredictably. CADI-SUN maintains stability in production – business activities and takes effective measures against the pandemic
However, with the determination of the whole system as well as the drastic and wise direction of the Management Board/Board of General Director etc., CADI-SUN managed to overcome the pandemic and obtained positive results in the first six months. The production value of 3 plants rose by 15-20% over the same period, the output value and revenue slightly increased, distribution branches continued to promote efficiency and contribute to an increase in revenue. Those are evidence that CADI-SUN products are always trusted and chosen for projects and works of national importance by partners and customers.
Moreover, with the synchronous activation of preventive measures against the pandemic, CADI-SUN is highly appreciated by local authorities, therefore assuring jobs and stable income for workers. Business activities in Luong Dien Industrial Cluster continued to make profit.
Despite appreciating the results obtained in the last period, Mr Pham Luong Hoa, Chairman of Management Board/General Director, emphasized that in order to successfully accomplish economic indicators of the last six months and the fiscal year 2021, all staff and employees of CADI-SUN would need to make a greater deal of effort in not only intensifying pandemic countermeasures to ensure absolute safety for Company/Plants but also boosting production and business growth.
